When is the convention being held?
Nom-con 2010 is being held from 27th - 29th August 2010.

How long does the convention last?
The convention will run from 2pm on Friday 27th August, 'till midnight on Sunday 29th August.
How big will the event be?
We hope that Nom Con will be the biggest Irish anime convention to date ^_^

Registration
How do I sign up? When will registrations open?
Pre-registration has ended as of the 31st of July. You can pay for entry on the weekend of the convention.
How much does it cost?
€35 for a weekend pass (Friday to very late Sunday) and €20 for a day pass.This does not include the cost of overnight accommodation (see below)
Will I be able to buy a ticket on the day of the convention?
Yes.
Are there any age limits?
Under 13's MUST be accompanied by an adult, and there will be a age restrictions for certain, over 18's, events which will be listed in the Events page. Under-18s will have an under 18s pass.
Do I have to prove my age to get in? What forms of ID do you accept?
Yes, you are required to present an acceptable form of photographic ID and proof of age in the name of your registration to staff on arrival at the convention. The only acceptable forms of ID are:
* Passport
* Photocard driving license (full or provisional, must include photographic card)
* EU National Identity Card
Expired ID is not accepted.

How do I get there?

Can I get there by public transport?
Yes, D4 hotels is along a main buss route with many buses running past it, including the number 7 and number 4A buss that can be gotten at the o Connell bridge bus stop
Can I park my car onsite?
There will be free parking for con attendees who are staying in the hotel.
On Site Accommodation
What on-site accommodation is available?
There will be approximately 400 double/twin rooms available on-site at various rates depending on the grade of the room. These will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis: prices will be seen on the accommodation page
How do I book on-site accommodation?
Accommodation booking will be handled by The D4 Hotel groups, all the contact details will be found on the accommodation page. Bookings must be made by the 8th of August to avail of discount rates.
Can I book by telephone?
Yes the contact number will be on the accommodation page but be sure to mention nom-con to receive special rates. (Bookings must be made by the 8th of August to avail of discount rates.)
Can I share my single room with a friend to cut costs?
Yes. There are double & twin rooms available.
Can I request a room with wheelchair access?
Yes. D4 hotels have lifts to accommodate wheelchair accessability
